Racial issues are dividing and the internet is full of discourse. I dont mind being downvoted for those comments either. It SOUNDS ridiculous, frankly, i think you're misappropriating what are very real systemic racial inequalities in the world, and creating tension where it doesn't belong. Preaching any kind of racial gatekeeping in a sandbox game is bound to get you ridiculed. And I must clarify this isn’t me saying the entirety of the community doesn’t care as I know there are people who do, however I can’t just act like it isn’t a problem anymore.

This isn’t to say a lot of y’all didn’t preach for more skin-tones back in 2020, but at the same time it feels like y’all kinda forgot about us after? There have been multiple times where I had to get into arguments with white sims players why they shouldn’t use black hairstyles on their white sims, and they for real told me that I was the one overreacting And to “get over it.” It sucks enough that EA barely cares about black simmers to the point where they’ll just add hairs from packs into the base game into the base game and call it a day, but than to get it from the community? I’m so sick of black players being called “over dramatic,” and being pushed down whenever they try to speak out.

I don’t really think that much of the sims community genuinely cares that much about black people. I have a really bad feeling that this’ll get a lot of hate, but it’s been on my mind for awhile.
